Playing in a SECURE Environment
The most significant change to income tax provisions that affect estate planning currently is the passage of the Secure Act. On its face, the legislative changes appear to be relatively small (i.e., the changes were merely a few paragraphs), however, when looking at it carefully, aside from obvious, there are many subtle, nuanced changes. Lester will discuss the changes to the law and some suggestions on how to plan in the new secure environment.
